HVM Plans 2 Cars In 2010, Viso Out

After a rough 2009 season, HVM Racing still plans to return to the Indycar Series grid as a 2-car team in 2010. One of the 2 rides will be filled by Robert Doornbos who came to the team mid-season after leaving Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing. With the expiration of E.J. Viso's contract, HVM is currently looking for a talented 2nd driver to pilot the teams other Dallara. HVM didn't say that Viso was out of the running for the ride next season, but it certainly sounds like they want to go in a different direction.“We have a historically successful...

Help Get Tracy A Ride

You either love him or you hate him, thats the kind of driver Paul Tracy is. But either way, I think we can all agree that if PT had a full-season ride the Indycar Series would be better for it.Tracy's personal sponsor Monster Energy Drink has updated there website, giving PT his own page. On his page is an area to "give a shout out", and as Tracy said "Make as many posts as you can at monster , maybe the light bulb will turn on more brightly". He currently has over 100 comments telling Monster to sponsor PT for a full-season ride in 2010, but...

Newman Wachs, Edwards Could Make Jump To IRL

It looks like 18 year old John Edwards and his 2009 Atlantics Championship winning team could be making the jump to the Indycar Series in 2010. As first pointed out by The Other Side, SPEED's Marshall Pruett has written a pretty convincing article. “There are two areas we’re considering, one is GP2 and I’m not as familiar with that series, but we’re talking with people; that would take Edwards overseas again. The other is IndyCar.I wouldn’t try to do it without tailing onto an existing IndyCar team. When I started my team I figured, ‘I’m as smart...
